Christopher Ryther has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as an Assistant Programmer at Crystal-Fibre A/S, where they developed the company's database and maintained the local intranet. In 2009, they worked as a Consultant at NKT Photonics A/S, collaborating with lab technicians to create Labview applications and optimizing laboratory setups. From 2011 to 2012, they served as an Analyst at SeaIntel Maritime Analysis, using mathematical modeling and data-mining algorithms to gather market intelligence for the shipping industry. Christopher then joined the Danish Government in 2013 as a Data Scientist, developing and implementing data-mining tools on the Hadoop cluster platform. In 2015, they began their Ph.D. at the University of Copenhagen, focusing on developing novel data mining methods for networks. After completing their Ph.D. in 2019, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Ørsted until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they served as a Lead Data Scientist at Novo Nordisk. Currently, they are working at Centrica Energy as a Lead MLOps and Algo Researcher.

Christopher Ryther received their education in computer science and network science. Christopher earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Year Abroad program in artificial intelligence at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2009-2010. Christopher also holds a Master of Science degree from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they completed in the field of informatics between 2006 and 2012.
