Tom Rigole has a diverse work experience spanning over various roles and companies. Their most recent position was as the Head of Optimisation Technology at Centrica Energy Trading, where they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Owner of Nubium BVBA, a role they held since July 2010. Tom also worked at REstore, where they served as the Vice-President Engineering from January 2015 to September 2018, and as the Lead Software Architect from October 2011 to December 2014. Tom also worked at ONDD as a Senior Java Developer/Analyst and at IBM as a Senior Developer in the SkillTeam. Tom started their career as a PhD researcher at K.U.Leuven in October 2005.
Tom Rigole attended Sint Jozefsinstituut Torhout from 1992 to 1999. From 1999 to 2005, they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering with a field of study in Computer Science at KU Leuven.
