Andrew Bevan CMIRM CBCI has extensive experience in risk management and optimization within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Risk, Portfolio & Modelling at Centrica since September 2012, Andrew has developed enterprise risk management best practices and oversees the Trading risk control team, having previously held the position of Head of Portfolio Optimisation at Bord Gáis Energy. In that role, Andrew was responsible for optimizing profit and market share across an integrated energy portfolio and managed multiple teams. Prior to these roles, Andrew gained significant experience at E.ON and Powergen, holding various managerial positions involved in commodity forecasting, trading, and business development. Andrew holds a BSc in Mathematics & Management Studies from the University of Leeds and an MBA (Distinction) from Aston University.
