Lee Swales

Lee Swales currently serves as Legal Counsel for Commercial Legal Services at Centrica. With extensive experience as a corporate and commercial attorney, Lee previously held the position of Director at Livingston Leandy Incorporated, focusing on contracts, compliance, and M&A activities. Lee has also occupied various roles, including Legal Counsel in Commercial & Procurement at Centrica and Consultant Attorney at Thomson Wilks Attorneys. In addition to legal practice, Lee contributed to academia as a Senior Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and as a Law Lecturer at Varsity College. Lee's legal career began as an Article Clerk at Webber Wentzel, advancing to Director at RL Daly Inc. Lee holds a PhD in electronic evidence from the University of Cape Town, an LLM in Regulatory Law from the University of the Witwatersrand, and an LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
