Anna Casals Planas

Anna Casals Planas has extensive work experience in supply chain management and procurement. Anna is currently serving as the Global Director of Supply Chain Management and Procurement at Centrient Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis, where they held various roles, including Global Procurement Head for Local Manufacturing Markets & APAC, as well as Head of Procurement for Aseptics and Procurement Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, and Italy. Before joining Novartis, Anna worked at Alcon as the Head of Procurement and Procurement Manager. Anna also has experience at Beiersdorf, where they served as a Senior Buyer and was responsible for process engineering and quality control. Overall, Anna has a broad range of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.

Anna Casals Planas earned a Licenciado degree in Ciencias Químicas from Universitat de Barcelona, completing their studies from 1985 to 1991. In 2008, they attended EADA Business School for a course in Gestiόn de Compras. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Fundamentos de la gestiόn del tiempo from LinkedIn in 2021.
