Dennis Wellmann

Dennis Wellmann began their work experience in 2008 as a Strategy Consultant at Landesbank Berlin. Dennis then worked as an Associate Capital Markets, Strategy & Planning at Finance in Motion from March 2011 to October 2012. Dennis joined Macquarie University in January 2013 as a PhD Scholar & Research Fellow in Applied Finance, staying until April 2017. Following this, they became the Manager of Sustainable Investments at avesco Financial Services from September 2017 to March 2019. Dennis is currently the Head of Product at Centrifuge, starting their role in March 2019.

Dennis Wellmann pursued their education in a disciplined and methodical manner. Dennis began their academic journey in 2002 at the University of Münster, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics, completing their studies in 2007. Seeking further specialization, Dennis then enrolled at Concordia University as a DAAD-Scholar, focusing on Finance & Economics, during the academic year 2005-2006.

Demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, Dennis pursued another degree at FernUniversität in Hagen. This time, they delved into Environmental Science and was awarded the Certified Manager certification. Their studies at FernUniversität transpired from 2012 to 2017, overlapping with their doctoral studies.

Taking on the challenge of a Ph.D., Dennis enrolled at Macquarie University in 2013. Over the next four years, they diligently applied himself to their research in the field of Applied Finance. Dennis successfully earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Finance in 2017, concluding their formal education.

Throughout their educational journey, Dennis Wellmann showcased their interdisciplinary drive, combining economics, finance, and environmental science to enrich their knowledge and expertise.
