Julia Elizalde Urmeneta

Julia Elizalde Urmeneta is a seasoned communication professional currently serving as Vicepresidenta primera at Alianza Internacional Comunicación y Periodismo en Español since August 2024. With extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, Julia has held the position of Directora de Comunicación y Relaciones Institucionales at the National Renewable Energy Centre since 2003, where notable contributions include the establishment of the Communication and Institutional Relations Department. Julia also leads the Transición E radio program, discussing significant global issues related to energy and ecological transitions. Previous roles include Vicepresidenta at Dircom, teaching at the University of Navarra, and various positions in media and corporate communication. Julia holds degrees in Journalism from the University of Navarra and Marketing from thePower, complemented by executive education in business management and communication.
