About This Position As a Director of Sales, you are pivotal to the growth of the Cents brand to new operators across the US. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales and hire, build, and coach a team of A+ Territory Account Executives in the field, transforming how laundromats operate.  You will also be one of the major GTM leaders and contribute significantly to shaping Cents' sales strategy and future. We have learned a ton already, but you will be granted a ton of autonomy to showcase your skills and develop an elite sales organization. This is a front-and-center position with incredible visibility across all areas of the company.  You must balance advocating for your team while working collaboratively with your peers in marketing, business development, onboarding, customer success, and finance.  It is also important that we win, but we win the right way.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor the account executive sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and support.
  • Hiring: Recruit, hire, train, and onboard the next generation of A+ sellers at Cents.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets, enhance customer acquisition, and increase market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Understand client needs and provide tailored software solutions.
  • Sales Forecasting: Analyze sales data and market trends to prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for upper management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, onboarding, customer success, and billing teams to align strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team performance and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the software spaceProven experience in software sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Outreach, Chorus, and other or equivalent sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
