Miguel Ruiz Villarreal, PMP®

Miguel Ruiz Villarreal, PMP®, has a diverse work experience in the field of telecommunications and project management. Miguel began their career as a Scholar on practice at VODAFONE España S.A. in 2005. Miguel then worked as a VODAFONE 2G/3G Specialist at DM Ingeniería S.L. from 2005 to 2008. Miguel also served as a Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) Quality Auditor at Telefónica Móviles España S.A. during this time.

In 2008, Miguel worked for Alta Gestión Trabajo Temporal as a MOVISTAR Specialist in the Gerencia de Radio de Castilla y León de Telefónica Móviles España S.A. Miguel also worked as a Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) Quality Auditor for Arca Ingenieros y Consultoría, S.L.

From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an IT Technical at Centro Regional de Servicios Avanzados S.A. and as an NSN Quality Auditor at ESI Soluciones Integradas S.L. Miguel then joined LAP Services For Telecom S.L. as a HUAWEI regional coordinator at VODAFONE Spain Microwaves & Single Run projects from 2010 to 2012.

From 2012 to 2015, Miguel worked as an ERICSSON/HUAWEI/ZTE regional project coordinator for main mobile operators at INSYTE Instalaciones S.A. Miguel later joined Centro Tecnológico ATTICO as a PMP® Telecommunication engineer in the Departamento de Transferencia Tecnologica from 2016 to 2017.

Currently, Miguel is working at CENTUM Solutions as a Technical Project Manager. Miguel has held various roles, including Technical Project Manager at Telefonica I+D Connected TV`s project in LATAM / CAM from 2017 to 2018, Technical Project Manager (Video) from 2018 to 2018, and Technical Project Manager in the Departamento de Servicios asociados a Equipamiento - TELEFONICA ESPAÑA from 2018 to the present.

Miguel Ruiz Villarreal, PMP®, obtained a University Degree in Higher Technical Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad de Valladolid, where they studied from 1994 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Miguel has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they obtained the ITIL® Foundations v3 certification from APM Group. In 2016, they obtained the Project Management Professional PMP® certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2017, they furthered their certifications by obtaining the ISTQB® Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board and the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación certification from COIT AEIT Colegio Oficial y Asociación Española de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación.
