Alex Polyakman

Alex Polyakman has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. Alex currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Century Fire Protection, a position they started in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked for thyssenkrupp Elevator from 2014 to 2022, holding the roles of VP Finance and Director of Finance.

Before joining thyssenkrupp Elevator, Alex worked at AkzoNobel Car Refinishes from 2008 to 2014, where they served as the Financial Controller for North America and later as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. At AkzoNobel, they were responsible for financial aspects, such as budgeting, strategy development, cost control, and compensation plans. Alex also played a key role in supporting data-driven decisions and supporting SAP implementations and M&A activities.

In addition to their roles at Century Fire Protection, thyssenkrupp Elevator, and AkzoNobel, Alex has prior experience at Harland Clarke and Vital Solutions, Inc in finance and accounting positions.

Alex Polyakman completed an MBA in International Business from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of West Georgia. No specific start or end years were provided for their time at the University of West Georgia.
