Christopher Dower

Christopher Dower is a Senior Scientist at Century Therapeutics, Inc. since September 2020, focusing on CAR Engineering and Protein Sciences. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 2018 to September 2020, where Christopher engineered CAR expression-vectors to improve T cell functionality against solid tumors, incorporating advanced T cell receptor signaling techniques. Christopher's research journey began at Penn State University from 2012 to 2018 as a Doctoral Graduate Researcher, investigating autophagy in solid tumor biology and contributing to significant publications in the field. Earlier in the career, Christopher worked as a Scientist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories from 2011 to 2012, conducting molecular and cell-based assays for drug validation under GMP specifications.
