Sara Passos

Sara Passos, Ph.D., currently serves as Head of Flow Cytometry at Century Therapeutics, Inc., where expertise in immunology and flow cytometry enhances projects in autoimmune diseases, cancer, iron overload, and infectious diseases. Previously, Sara led the Characterization Team at Abcam and held positions as Scientist at New York Blood Center and Research Assistant II at Houston Methodist. Sara's academic experience includes significant research contributions at the Immunology Laboratory of the Federal University of Bahia, focusing on the immune response in Leishmania braziliensis infections under NIH Grant funding. Educational qualifications include a Post Doctorate in Immunopathology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Immunology from Universidade Federal da Bahia.
