Alexandra Blood has worked in the field of environmental sustainability for over 20 years. Alexandra has worked for various government organizations as well as private consulting firms. In their current position as Chairperson of the Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme, they are responsible for overseeing the certification of environmental practitioners in Australia.

Alexandra has a passion for environmental sustainability and has dedicated their career to working on projects that promote sustainable practices. Alexandra has worked on projects all over the world, including in Australia, Papua New Guinea, the Pacific Islands, and Asia. Some of their notable projects include the Port Moresby Sewage System Upgrade Project, which aimed to develop the most advanced treatment system in the Pacific, and the Nauro Brown Hydropower project in Papua New Guinea.

Throughout their career, Alexandra has demonstrated their commitment to promoting sustainable development. Alexandra is an expert in scoping and Equator Principle IFC Standards, and has used their skills to help secure approvals for major projects. Alexandra is also experienced in stakeholder engagement and strategic planning, and has played a key role in developing policy support and system development for international recipients in Papua New Guinea.

Alexandra is a highly respected figure in the field of environmental sustainability, and their work has contributed to making positive change on a global scale.

Alexandra Blood holds a professional certificate in ESG from AUSIMM, as well as a certificate of registration as an EIA and stakeholder engagement specialist from the Fiji government. Alexandra is also certified by the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand as a certified impact assessment specialist, and by Chevron Texaco as a qualified ESHIA facilitator. In addition, they hold an M.Envt.St. in environmental science and management from the University of Adelaide, and is certified by the International Association for Public Participation as an IAP2 certified practitioner.
