Apostolos Pantelis, CISA has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Apostolos currently serves as the Head of Operational Risk Section at Cepal Hellas Financial Services S.A., where they are responsible for developing the Operational Risk Management Framework and coordinating the Risk and Control Self-Assessment process.
Prior to their current role, Apostolos worked at Deloitte as a Manager in the Risk Advisory department. During their time at Deloitte, they assisted clients in performing Risk & Control Self-Assessments, conducted Quality Assurance and Diagnostic Reviews of the Internal Audit Function, and participated in consulting projects for the implementation of internal controls.
Before joining Deloitte, Apostolos held various roles in different organizations. Apostolos worked as a Data Analyst at IDIKA SA - e-Government Center for Social Security Services, as a Customer Service Specialist at PPC S.A., as a Sales Consultant at ENERGA POWER TRADING, as a Census Supervisor at Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT), and as an Internal Sales and Customer Support Associate at Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation.
Apostolos started their career as a Sales Consultant at Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation in 2005. Apostolos holds the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification, demonstrating their expertise in IT auditing and risk management.
Apostolos Pantelis, CISA holds a 5-year Diploma, M.Eng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. Apostolos completed this degree from 2003 to 2010. In addition, Apostolos pursued a MSc in Risk Management at Alba Graduate Business School, earning the degree between 2013 and 2015. Apostolos achieved the highest honors for this degree with a GPA of 3.85/4.00.
