Diane Kawa

Diane Kawa is a Senior Director of Medical Science Liaisons at Cepheid, a position held since June 2021, after serving as Director of Scientific Affairs at BD Life Sciences - Diagnostic Systems from 2008 to 2021. Prior to that, Diane worked as Principal Scientist at Roche Molecular Systems from 2003 to 2008, and as Associate Microbiologist at Abbott Laboratories from 1993 to 1997. Diane began a career in microbiology as a Senior Microbiologist at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene from 1989 to 1993. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Infectious Diseases and Immunity from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.S. in Medical Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
