Jeff Nielson

Jeff Nielson is a seasoned design professional with over two decades of experience in UX/UI and visual design across various industries. Currently serving as a Staff UX/UI Designer at Cepheid since January 2019, Jeff has previously held significant roles at Cumulus Networks, where brand identity was developed from the ground up, and Cisco, where collaboration with engineering teams improved user interface visuals. Earlier positions include Principal Creative Director at Nielson Design, focusing on high-standard presentations for diverse sectors, and impactful roles at companies like MSC Software, McDill Associates, and Liquid Agency. Jeff holds a B.S. in Applied Art and Design from California Polytechnic State University and has undertaken marketing courses at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
