Zoey Cao

Zoey Cao is a Research Associate at Spotlight Therapeutics since February 2022, specializing in analyzing Next Generation Sequencing data and characterizing iPS cells for CRISPR targeting using various cell biology techniques. Prior experience includes a role as Research Associate at UNITY Biotechnology, where Zoey worked on electroporation of antisense oligonucleotides and target engagement assays. Zoey’s background includes tutoring in Math and Science, laboratory technician work related to COVID-19 testing, and research assistant positions focusing on cancer biology at the University of California, San Francisco and the University of California, Berkeley. Zoey holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
