Federica Cappuccini

Federica Cappuccini is a Senior Scientist at CEPI. Prior to this role, Federica worked as a Senior Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Oxford, focusing on T cell responses induced by COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials. Federica also has experience as a PhD student in Biology at University Hospital Essen, where Federica studied radiotherapy side effects on normal host tissue. Additionally, Federica worked as an Associate student at the Barts Cancer Institute and completed a Master thesis at Istituto Superiore di Sanità. Federica holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology from the University of Duisburg-Essen and has a Master's degree in Experimental thesis entitled "Cloning and expression of rotavirus VP8* protein" from Università degli studi Roma TRE.
