Katrin Ramsauer

Katrin Ramsauer currently serves as the Lassa Program Lead at CEPI, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Katrin was the Managing Director and Chief Scientific Officer at Themis Bioscience GmbH, where responsibilities included leading the product development team for a late-stage Chikungunya vaccine and overseeing various vaccine development programs. Katrin's extensive experience in vaccine development includes significant roles at Themis Bioscience from 2010 to 2022, Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, and research fellowships focused on immunology and virology. Educational achievements encompass a PhD in Immunology/Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology.
