Samia S. is an experienced executive in global health and epidemic preparedness, currently serving as the Executive Director of Resource Mobilisation & Investor Relations at the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) since August 2016. Previously, Samia contributed significantly as Strategy Lead for Global Health R&D Policy and Advocacy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and has held various consulting roles with notable organizations, including WHO and DFID. With an academic background from institutions such as Imperial College London and Harvard Medical School, Samia holds degrees in Biochemistry, International Health Policy, and Human Molecular Genetics, and has been involved in impactful projects influencing health policy and access to medicines worldwide.
