Tiana Carstairs

Tiana Carstairs is an experienced epidemiologist and project manager with a strong background in infectious disease epidemiology, prevention, and control. Currently serving as an Epidemiologist Specialist Project Manager at CEPI since March 2022, Tiana previously held positions as a Scientific Officer at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control and as a Project Manager at the Provincial Health Services Authority, among others. Tiana's extensive experience includes program planning, implementation, and evaluation at the University of British Columbia, as well as global disease surveillance during an internship with the World Health Organization. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in the Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, along with various certifications in project management from the UBC Sauder School of Business and courses from Simon Fraser University.
