Mario Barbaresso

Mario Barbaresso has extensive work experience in leadership roles within the energy and power industries. Mario currently serves as the President/CEO of CE+T America, where they provide strategic leadership for critical mission backup power, energy control management, microgrid, energy storage systems, and power quality solutions. Prior to their current role, they were the President/CEO of Altagrid.

In addition, Mario has served as the President and CEO of Power Survey, where they led the company in delivering power quality solutions for various sectors and implemented a strategic plan for growth. Before that, they were the CEO of Benning Power Electronics, overseeing P&L responsibility and achieving significant revenue growth. Mario has also held roles as the Operations Director at Emerson Network Power and Emerson Energy Systems, where they managed various operational functions.

At Nortel Networks, Mario served as an Operations Manager and later as an Operations Manager. Mario developed and executed strategic plans, refined organizational structures, and managed business operations. Mario also gained experience as a Project Manager at ABB and as a Project Engineer at Bombardier Transportation.

Throughout their career, Mario Barbaresso has demonstrated a strong ability to drive growth, implement strategic plans, and lead organizational change.

Mario Barbaresso completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Power Design at École de technologie supérieure from 1982 to 1986. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Applied Science from Limoilou College from 1981 to 1985. Mario is also certified by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
