Alexander Ljungqvist

Alexander Ljungqvist currently holds the position of Stefan Persson Family Professor in Entrepreneurial Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics and serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Sjätte AP Fonden. As the founder of Nordic Economics Consulting AB, Ljungqvist also has extensive involvement in various economic research organizations, including the Centre for Economic Policy Research and the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research, among others. With a significant academic tenure at NYU Stern School of Business, Ljungqvist has held multiple roles from Assistant Professor to Ira Rennert Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship. Educationally, Ljungqvist earned a DPhil and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and holds a Master of Science in International Business from Lund University.
