Angel Garcia Lora

Angel Garcia Lora has a diverse work experience in the field of data and analytics. Angel started their career as an Analyst of applications at everis, where they provided technological consulting to companies in the industrial sector. Angel then moved on to Capgemini, where they worked as an Analyst BPM and later as an Architect SW. At everis, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer and later as a Project Manager for Big Data projects. Angel then joined Cepsa as a Lead Data Engineer and eventually became the Head of Data & Analytics for Mobility and new Commerce. Currently, they are working as a Profesor BigData y Analytics at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. Angel'sexpertise lies in big data technologies, data analysis, and data visualization, and they have a strong focus on practical applications and real-world implications of data analysis.

Angel Garcia Lora has a diverse education history. In 2021, they obtained a Certification in Estrategia y Gobierno del Dato from IE University. In 2016-2017, they pursued a Postgraduate Expert degree in Big Data from U-tad. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Ingeniería Informática from Universitat d'Alacant between 2000 and 2007. Angel has also obtained additional certifications, including a Certificado en Gobierno y Estrategia del Dato (CertGED) from Club Chief Data Officer Spain & Latam and a Scrum Manager - Nivel Experto certification from Scrum Manager.
