Jagdish Rele

Jagdish Rele is a seasoned professional in the fields of real estate and civil engineering, currently serving as a Visiting Faculty at both the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and CEPT University since December 2023. As the proprietor of Chaiam Consultants, established since May 2023, Jagdish leads an independent consultancy specializing in real estate and civil engineering management. Previously, Jagdish held the position of Senior Project Manager at The World Bank from January 2010 to April 2023, where significant achievements included earning the Platinum Green Building Certification for a new office in Vientiane, Lao PDR. Jagdish's extensive experience encompasses a tenure as Chief Engineer at the United Nations, focusing on infrastructure planning for peacekeeping missions, and prior roles in project management and engineering consultancy through various firms, starting from a junior associate position at Shirish Patel & Associates Consultants Private Limited. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering/Structural from the University of Mumbai and further studies through the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship in Japan.
