Dean Lendrum

Dean Lendrum is an experienced professional in the field of web application security, currently serving as the Threat Research Lead at Cequence Security since June 2021. Dean has also contributed as a subject matter expert on Advanced Web Application Hacking & Security techniques for EC-Council since January 2019. Previous roles include DAST Research Lead at WhiteHat Security and Senior Security Researcher at Tenable, along with experience as a Security Engineer at Rapid7 and a Web Application Security Researcher at Alert Logic. Dean's career began with self-employment as a contracted web developer, and academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Ethical Hacking for Computer Security from Northumbria University and a computer science degree with distinctions from SERC Bangor.
