George Shashati

George Shashati has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. George is currently working as the Head of Sales at Ericsson since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Sales for Oceania and Japan at Ceragon Networks starting from November 2017. George also held multiple roles at Huawei Technologies, including Account Director, Account Manager for Singtel Optus, General Manager for Service in the Singtel Optus Account, and Service Delivery & Service Business Development Manager. George worked at Huawei from 2006 to 2017. Before that, George was the Customer Support Manager at LongReach from June 2005 to August 2006. George also served as the Director at Alcatel from April 2000 to January 2005 and as the Service Channels Manager at Newbridge Networks from 1999 to 2001.

George Shashati holds a BSc (Honours) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Khartoum in Sudan, which they completed between 1981 and 1986. George then pursued a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Microwave & Optical Fibres at the University of NSW in Sydney, Australia from 1987 to 1989. Later, they obtained a Masters degree in Engineering Management from the University of Technology Sydney, which they completed between 1991 and 1994.
