Louise Svanberg

Louise Svanberg is the former Chair of EF Education First, the world’s largest private educational company specializing in language training, educational travel, academic degree programs, and cultural exchange. She joined the company in 1985 and served as CEO and Chair between 2002 to 2010. Through her leadership with EF Education, she was able to assist in revolutionizing the remote learning industry. Svanberg was so successful that in 2004, she was named the Most Powerful Swedish Businesswoman by the economics magazine Veckans Affärer. She also ranked No. 35 on Fortune Magazine's list of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Business in 2005. Svanberg believes that the same principles, which created a user-friendly learning experience for remote learners, are directly applicable to Ceras Health’s platform. Svanberg is adamant in using remote patient monitoring to develop better outcomes for not only the patients, themselves, but also for the providers and clinical personnel. She joined the Ceras board because she’s convinced that Ceras is the way forward for conquering healthcare transformations that include lowering the cost for patients, providing a culture of wellness, and improving the standard of care. With this in mind, Svanberg is ready to build the next generation of leaders with Ceras Health and scale the company to levels that significantly change how people around the world view their overall personal wellness and healthcare experience.
