Benjamin Bockstael has held various roles throughout their work experience. Benjamin began their career as a System Administrator at Stadsbestuur Ninove from 2003 to 2006. Benjamin then worked at Sogeti Belux in different positions, including Business Intelligence, Tools Specialist for Newtest, Infra Specialist for Virtual Helpdesk Agent, Project Manager for implementation of Centreon MBI, Project Manager for a migration of a Sharepoint site, and Tools Specialist in Eracent IT Asset Management and Entitlement Management. From 2011 to 2019, they also worked as a Tools Specialist in IBM QRadar and a Support Engineer. Finally, they joined Cerba Research in 2019 as a Business Intelligence Developer.

Benjamin Bockstael began their education in 1992 at Sint-Aloysiuscollege Ninove, where they studied Latin-Science until 1999 and obtained their Secondary School degree. Following this, from 1999 to 2002, they attended HOGENT and completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer and Information Sciences. In 2003, they pursued further education in networking at the Center for Education in Computer Science VDAB Dendermonde through open learning. In 2004, they studied network administration at VTI - CVO Aalst.

In terms of additional certifications, Benjamin acquired several qualifications throughout their career. In 2008, they obtained a certification in Implementing Windows Vista. In 2011, they completed multiple certifications related to Newtest - NEWT01, NEWT02, and NEWT03, specifically focusing on concepts, scripting, and advanced scripting of NEP architectures. In 2012, they obtained the Newtest - NEWT03 certification in NEP Architectures, Operation, and Good Practices. In 2013, they achieved the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management. In 2014, they obtained the Prince 2 Foundation certification from APMG International. Lastly, in 2016, Benjamin acquired the Prince2 Practitioner certificate in Project Management from APMG International, and in 2018, they completed the Watson Conversation Service Foundations certification from IBM.
