Jérôme Sallette has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Jérôme started their career at Novartis in 1998 as an R&D Engineer. Jérôme then joined Institut Pasteur in 2000, where they worked as a Researcher in Neurobiology and completed their PhD thesis on the up-regulation of nicotinic receptors in the brain. In 2005, they joined IMSTAR S.A. as a Scientific Marketing Manager until 2010. Jérôme then moved on to CERBA, where they worked as an International Marketing Manager from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they transitioned to CERBA HEALTHCARE as the Chief Innovation Officer and later became the Chief Scientific Officer. In 2020, they joined Cerba Research as the Chief Scientific Officer, where they currently work.

Jérôme Sallette's education history begins with obtaining an ESPCI Engineering diploma from ESPCI Paris - PSL in the years 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued further education at Université Paris Cité, where they completed a DEA degree in the field of Physics Biology interface from 1999 to 2000. Jérôme then continued their studies at the same institution, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neurobiology from 2000 to 2004. Finally, they attended ESSEC Business School in 2013 to 2014, where they specialized in Marketing Management and obtained a Specialized Master's degree in that field.
