Richard Strasser

Richard Strasser serves as Principal at Strasser Ventures, LLC, where advisory roles focus on capital structure renegotiation and maximizing commercial real estate asset values in stressed markets. In addition to this role, Richard acts as an Advisor for QEA Tech, which utilizes drones and IoT technology combined with AI to provide customers with energy loss quantification and retrofit recommendations. Richard also contributes as an Advisor to Cerberus Capital Management, overseeing operational turnarounds and financial restructurings for specific commercial real estate portfolios. Prior experience includes a tenure as Managing Director at Contrarian Capital Management, where Richard managed real estate investments domestically and internationally, and significant involvement with Strasser Family Investment Vehicles, successfully leading turnaround efforts for multiple real estate ventures. Richard holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an AB in Economics from Harvard University, and an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
