Matthew Chiodi has held numerous positions in the field of cyber security over the past decade. Matthew began their career in 2008 as Managing Partner at Trentino Group, where they gained leadership experience in business accounting, contracts and risk, insurance, portfolio management, human resources, and facilities. In 2012, they joined eBay Enterprise as a Senior Solutions Architect, and in 2015, they moved to Cognizant as Director, Head of Cloud Security Advisory Services and Director, Global Head of Cloud Security. In 2018, they joined RedLock as VP & Chief Information Security Officer, and was acquired by Palo Alto Networks the same year. At Palo Alto Networks, they served as Vice President & Chief Security Officer, Cloud and Chief Security Officer, Public Cloud. In 2019, they joined Rutgers University as a member of the Rutgers Cybersecurity Advisory Board, and IANS as Faculty. In 2020, they joined Cerby as Chief Trust Officer and Board of Advisors, and in 2021, they joined deepwatch as Board of Advisors and Cloud Security Today as Podcast Host.
Matthew Chiodi received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems from Messiah University in 2000. In 2002, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2. Matthew also holds a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance.
