Ryan Ahmed

Ryan Ahmed has over 17 years of work experience, starting as an Assistant Manager at Grameen Cybernet Limited in 2004. Ryan went on to work for Somewhere In... for seven years, where they served as Head of Concept and Design and worked on various visual and interaction design projects. In 2013, Ryan joined cellbazaar as an Interactive Design Specialist, where they helped identify growth opportunities through web analytics and A/B testing. Later that year, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at IUPUI. In 2014, they were a User Experience Research Intern at Pearson. From 2015 to 2021, Ryan worked for Parkview Health as a User Experience Research Specialist. Most recently, they worked for EPAM Systems as an Associate Experience Design Manager (User Research), where they helped a large health record client to modernize their consumer health portal. Ryan has joined Cercacor Laboratories, Inc. in 2023 as a Senior UX Researcher.

Ryan Ahmed obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Graphics and Interactive Media from the University of Dubuque from 2000-2003. Prior to that, they attended North South University from 1998-2000, where they did not earn a degree or declare a field of study. Ryan continued their education and received a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis from 2013-2015.
