Mariana Almeida is a Senior UX Researcher II focused on enterprise solutions at Smartsheet since June 2022, where Mariana conducts various UX research methods, defines research needs, and influences product roadmaps. Prior experience includes serving as Principal UX Researcher at Upwork, leading research operations, mentoring, and managing a team of researchers, as well as independent consulting through Almeida User Experience. Mariana's background also includes roles at the U.S. Digital Service and The Permanente Medical Group, with expertise in usability evaluation and content strategy. Mariana holds a Master’s degree in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Maryland.
