Tommy Teo

Tommy Teo has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Tommy served as the Managing Director & Head of Southeast Asia at Cercano Management from December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Board Member at Nera Telecommunications Ltd and ERA Singapore, starting in 2018 and 2016 respectively. Tommy also held the position of Managing Director & Head of Southeast Asia at Vulcan Capital from May 2019 to November 2022.

Tommy Teo has a strong background in finance and investment banking. Tommy worked at Northstar Group as an Executive Director from January 2016 to April 2019, as well as Vice President from June 2014 to December 2015, and as a Senior Associate from May 2013 to May 2014. Earlier in their career, they served as an Investment Banking Associate at Citi from 2011 to 2012, an Investment Banking Analyst at Perella Weinberg Partners from 2009 to 2011, an Investment Analyst at Capital Z Partners in 2008, and an Investment Banking Analyst at Bear Stearns & Co. from 2007 to 2008.

Tommy Teo attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance & Accounting. Prior to their university education, they attended Anglo-Chinese Junior College from 2000 to 2001. Tommy completed their early schooling at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) from 1996 to 1999.
