Francois Souty

Francois Souty is a distinguished academic and professional with extensive experience in competition law and international relations. Currently serving as a Lecturer PhD at Excelia and Audencia, Francois has been actively involved with the Directorate General for Competition as an International Relations Officer since November 2021. Additionally, Francois holds the position of Field Office Director at the Direction Générale de la Concurrence, de la Consommation et de la Répression des Fraudes since February 2018. As a founding member of Cercle K2 and a former Senior Economic Advisor for an EU project in Georgia, expertise spans various roles in competition law and consumer protection. Francois possesses a robust educational background, including a PhD in Economic History from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle and graduate studies in Competition and Consumer Protection Law from Ecole Nationale de la Concurrence et de la Consommation.
