Gérard Leymarie

Gérard LEYMARIE is an experienced professional in the field of information security and operational command, currently serving as CISO at the Ministère des Armées since October 2023. Gérard has held various leadership roles, including Group CSO and CISO at Europ Assistance until October 2023, and Group Chief Information Security Officer at Elior Group from February 2018 to October 2021. Active in several security organizations, Gérard is a member of Clusif, CESIN, and co-president of the AGORA des RSSI at Agora Managers. Gérard also has a distinguished military background with the Gendarmerie Nationale as a lieutenant-colonel and commandant in the operational reserve since March 2012. Education includes an Engineer’s Degree in Telecommunications and Networks Engineering from EPITA, completed in 1999.
