Marco Plattner, CPA, EMBA, currently serves as the Group CFO at Cerdia, a global chemical manufacturer under the Blackstone portfolio, since February 2021. Prior to this role, Marco was the Head of Group Finance at Archroma from December 2016 to January 2021, overseeing global finance operations with a team of approximately 160 professionals. Marco's experience also includes serving as Head of Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting at Bühler Group, where responsibilities included managing group reporting in compliance with IFRS. Earlier in the career, Marco worked at Ernst & Young Ltd in various managerial roles, focusing on audits and financial advisory services for multinational firms and assisting with IFRS conversions. Academic qualifications include an Executive MBA from IMD, Swiss Certified Accountant from EXPERTsuisse, and a BA in Finance and Controlling from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.
