Dan Abrams

Dr. Abrams is the founder of Cerebral Therapeutics, Inc., a member of its board of directors, and the company's Chief Executive Officer. He was trained and has practiced as both a neurosurgeon and a psychiatrist and previously served as head of the Department of Neurosurgery at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver. He is a pioneer in site specific delivery of drugs to the brain. Prior to starting Cerebral Therapeutics, Dr. Abrams founded Sierra Neuropharmaceuticals, Inc. He has extensive expertise in the treatment and care of patients with a broad array of CNS diseases, the use of minimally invasive implantable CNS devices including CSF infusion pumps, as well as the use and development of CNS pharmaceuticals for severe diseases.
