Sia Rezaei

Sia Rezaei is an accomplished technical professional with extensive experience in machine learning, computer vision, and engineering. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Cerebras Systems since March 2022, Sia previously worked as a Deep Learning and Computer Vision Research Engineer at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, focusing on clinical-grade algorithms for diagnosing and caring for older adults and patients with neurological disorders. Previous roles include positions as a Machine Learning Engineer at Jargon.ai, where multimodal deep learning models were developed, and as an Insight Artificial Intelligence Fellow at Insight Data Science, where engagement during video calls was analyzed through visual action recognition. Sia also founded Serene Audio Inc., managing product development, fundraising, and partnerships, and held various roles in data analytics, software engineering, and robotics. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Engineering from Simon Fraser University.
