Vishal Subbiah

Vishal Subbiah is a seasoned professional in machine learning and software engineering, currently serving as the Head of ML Cloud at Cerebras Systems since July 2018, where significant contributions include roles as ML Software Architect, ML Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, and Machine Learning Engineer. Prior experience includes teaching assistant roles at Stanford University, where Vishal supported multiple computer science courses, and a Big Data Analyst internship at American Express focused on deep learning algorithms. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Additionally, Vishal has held research positions at the University of Saskatchewan and TU Darmstadt, and interned at Ashok Leyland contributing to quality assurance and materials analysis.
