Carol L. Tenny

Carol L. Tenny is a highly experienced Senior Linguistic Engineer at Cerence Inc. since October 2019, having previously held the same role at Nuance Communications from 2013 to 2019. Tenny's expertise includes building and maintaining extensive lexica and grammars for commercial speech recognition products across various domains. As Japanese Language Technology Manager at Semantic Compaction Systems from 2008 to 2013, Tenny developed a Japanese product designed for assistive communication technology. A consultant in natural language technology for Japanese from 1996 to 2013, Tenny demonstrated strong analytical skills and a deep knowledge of the Japanese language.
