Anurag Patnaik has a diverse work experience in the fields of product development, diagnostics, and quality assurance. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Product Development at Ceres Nanosciences, Inc., where they oversee the development of products for applications such as liquid biopsy, multi-omics, and bio-surveillance. Anurag manages all stages of the product life cycle and provides technical support after product launch. From 2012 to 2016, Anurag worked at Ceres Nanosciences, Inc. as a Product Development Manager and Research Specialist, focusing on developing nanotechnology-based applications for sample enrichment and preservation. This work was part of a bio-fluid sample collection program by DARPA. Prior to that, Anurag worked at Biocon Biologics as a Senior Analyst in Quality Assurance, where they monitored production activities, ensured compliance with regulatory standards, and implemented Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for the company.
Anurag Patnaik completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Biotechnology from Dr DY Patil University, Pune from 2005 to 2009. Anurag then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology from Georgetown University from 2011 to 2012. Later, from 2015 to 2016, they attended Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as a Fellow, specializing in Technology Transfer, Infectious Diseases, and Global Health.
