Laurel Asimiea

Laurel Asimiea, PhD, is a System Engineer at Ceres since May 2021, specializing in the development of Solid Oxide Fuel and Electrolysis Cell technologies for power and hydrogen generation. Previously, Laurel worked as a Mechanical Engineer contracted to Ceres Power Ltd through ALTEN LTD from May 2021 to December 2022, focusing on SOFC systems. In academia, Laurel served as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bedfordshire from October 2017 to May 2020, delivering industry-focused lectures on applied mathematics and computation modeling. Additionally, a role as Project Mechanical Design Engineer at Eurocold Limited involved designing advanced thermal insulation and blast doors, enhancing market competitiveness.
