Nick Lawrence

Nick Lawrence has a strong background in engineering and has held various roles throughout their career. Nick started their career at Rover Group, where they worked as an FEA Analyst, conducting analysis on car body structures for projects such as the New Mini, Rover 75, and Land Rover. Nick then joined TWR Engines Limited as a Design/Analysis Engineer, responsible for designing formula one racing engines and conducting analysis on critical engine mechanisms. After that, they worked at Mechadyne International as a Senior Engineer, where they managed project engineers and overhauled the engineering administrative system. Nick then became the Chief Engineer at Isentropic Ltd, leading the technical delivery of electricity storage systems and managing a cross-functional team of engineers. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Advanced Engineering at Ceres Power, where they lead programs to develop breakthrough technology solutions. Additionally, they previously served as the Head of Mechanical Engineering at Ceres Power, focusing on creating fuel cells for residential and commercial use.

Nick Lawrence attended Merchant Taylors' School from 1986 to 1993. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Oxford, where they pursued a degree in Engineering Science.
