Emily Stern, M.D.

Emily Stern, M.D. has a wealth of experience in the medical field. Emily began their career in 1987 as a Resident in Diagnostic Radiology and an Intern in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. In 1993, they were a Visiting Researcher at the MRC Cyclotron Unit, Hammersmith Hospital. From 1994 to 2008, they were a Co-Director of the Functional Neuroimaging Laboratory at Weill Cornell Medicine. During this same time period, they were also a Lecturer and Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. In 2018, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Ceretype Neuromedicine, Inc., and also joined Philips as part of their Healthworks (innovation accelerator group) Global Program.

Emily Stern, M.D. attended Stuyvesant High School from 1975 to 1979, earning their high school diploma. Emily then attended Amherst College from 1979 to 1983, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). Subsequently, they attended Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University from 1983 to 1987, earning their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Finally, in 2013-2014, they attended the Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Business School Brigham Leadership Program.
