Jorge Rios

Jorge Rios has extensive work experience in the finance and administration field. Jorge'smost recent position was as the Finance Director at Cermaq Chile, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Petuna Aquaculture from 2019 to 2023. Jorge also served as the Gerente de Administración y Finanzas | CFO at OXXEAN Empresas Marítimas from 2017 to 2019. Before that, they held various finance director roles at Skretting, Cermaq Group AS, Marine Harvest, and Marine Harvest Group. Jorge started their career at Nutreco as a Controller at Marine Harvest Chile and later worked at Marine Harvest as a Controller and Cost Accountant. Overall, Jorge Rios has over 30 years of experience in finance and administration with a focus on the aquaculture industry.

Jorge Rios completed their undergraduate education at Universidad Austral de Chile from 1982 to 1987. Jorge earned a degree in Commercial Engineering, focusing on Business Administration and Management. After a significant gap in formal education, Jorge pursued further studies in 2012-2013, attending Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez to obtain an MBA. This program covered various aspects of Business Administration and Management. In 2016, they also participated in the Nutreco Advanced Management Program at HEC Paris, focusing on Business Administration and Management once again.
