Arnaud Foussat

High Field Magnet Program Dipole Project Leader, Deputy Section Head at CERN

Arnaud Foussat is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management, particularly in the field of high field magnet technology and large-scale accelerator projects. Currently serving as the High Field Magnet program dipole project leader and Deputy section head at CERN since June 2000, Arnaud has contributed significantly to the design and development of Nb3Sn High Field magnets. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager for the ITER Toroidal Field Magnet project, overseeing large superconducting magnet structures and managing substantial budgets in international collaborations. Arnaud's background also includes engineering design for the ATLAS Magnet system at CERN, as well as project engineering at Oxford Instruments and experience in high pulsed power technologies with DGA. Academic qualifications include an MBA from The London School of Economics, an applied physics degree from INSA Toulouse, and a finance certification from Business School Lausanne, among others.
