Eirini Tagkoudi

Eirini Tagkoudi is a skilled Fiber Optics Engineer and Project Manager at CERN, specializing in the qualification and calibration of radiation-sensitive optical fibers in radioactive environments and conducting extensive data analysis to support R&D initiatives. Previously, Eirini served as a Doctoral Assistant at EPFL, focusing on the development of supercontinuum sources in silicon nitride waveguides, along with teaching roles in Electrical Engineering. Eirini's experience includes research at FORTH Institute, where optical fiber devices for sensing were developed, a teaching position at the University of Crete, and a research assistant role at the University of Patras involving the synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanoparticles. Eirini holds a Ph.D. in Photonics from EPFL, a Master's degree in Microelectronics and Optoelectronics from the University of Crete, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Patras.
