Jean-Paul Licari

Jean-Paul Licari, CPFA, currently serves as the Head of External Public Markets and Treasurer for the CERN Pension Fund since March 2022, where responsibilities include oversight of investment management and accounting. Prior to this role, Jean-Paul worked at UNESCO from November 2012 to April 2022 as Head of the Savings Unit, managing the investments of the Internal Portfolio and advising committees on asset allocation. Previous experience includes positions at CNP Assurances as a Treasury Portfolio Manager, Monte Paschi Banque SA as a Money Market Fund Manager, and roles with BNP Paribas and General Electric Capital Bank. Jean-Paul holds a Master of Science in Management with a finance major from Institut Mines-Télécom Business School and is a Chartered Public Finance Accountant. Additional education includes a summer semester at The London School of Economics in finance and derivatives.
